Anyone install in VOLVO 850?

My cousin has a 1996 Volvo 850 and wants to put a system in it. Anyone install in one of these? What kind of difficulty would you rate this car? Anything I should know before I take on the project?

oh and hes got a bunch of 4 gauge and wants to use it. 4 gauge ok running 1700rms? i suggested 0 but since hes got it he wants to use it.

4 guage definitely is not good for running 1700 rms.

If he has enough do two runs of 4 gauge then it'll be enough. But one run wouldnt be enough for 1700w

yeah i think its the double din, i was just a little concerned cause i know alot about my own car cause ive worked on it sooo much but ive heard so much about german cars being pains on the ***** to work on. and its got the premium sound so i didnt know if that would cause any issue. since were amping everything i can just bypass all that without any issues right?

hes a mechanic, but has little knowledge about car stereos so he asked for my help.
