THE WHOLE THING!!!
I'm wondering what it would take to get my headunit replaced. I have the 3 year extended warranty, so i'm just looking for something simple to do to get it replaced. Also, i'd be willing to spend another $100 to get a higher end model.

 
FRY IT..lol...if u got the extened warranty there shouldnt be any reason for them to ask questions..just take it in there but i dont know..if Circuit City's not like best buy i dont know...

My deck busted i got a 4 year warranty with it. They made me send it back in and get fixed it was bullshit. I wanted the new model. =). Make sure that whatever brand it is the company doesnt carry it on warranty before u break it. Then ull get screwed like i was for 2 WEEKS without a DECK. i had to listen to my tires hum.

 
same here when i took my R types in they checked them out one was completely blowin and the other in some what bad shape but they exchanged them both but when i was having probs with my H/U they said they would have to send it in to get it fixed..good thing it was only the x overs on my comps that blew mailed them in to alpine and got a new set for free well - shipping to them

we're supposed tos end them in but it depends on how old it is and what the policy was at the time. if the same problem happens 3 times we give you store credit due to the lemon law or whatever

It's already 2 years old, and you guys don't really have a model that matches it for the price.

Good luck.. we send all of our head units off even the older kenwood ones.... Speakers and Subs are automatically replaced but not head units and amps..
dammit, that sucks ***.
