Anyone heard [of] this subwoofer?

CA&E reviews should have 0 credibility to anyone who knows about audio. Of course the Critical Mass and the JL get good reviews... they prolly shipped em to CA&E with the check for advertising taped to the cone.

Companies that advertise with CA&E somehow always manage to get good reviews. Companies that dont advertise with them*couch*SI*cough* magically get bad reviews.
he who has the gold makes the rules.

The other night I was at walmart and stumbled into the magazine section. I opened up one of the car audio rags and about puked. There is like a magical wonderland that exists between those pages only apparently. Where street beaters and SPL gods just dont exist.....only people who've paid someone else to install $100,000 in equipment in a mediocre ride get praise apparently.

WOW! No love for the UL around here? It does seem to be a "little"pricey but she sure is NICE. Don't try to get a hold of a UL10 though, they probrably won't make anymore. (Didn't mean to imply you would want one) The UL12 needs about 1.2 cubes and is only a couple more $$.

You can use different grades of neodymium to overcome it's lower currie temperature. Some of the better grades have currie temperatures well beyond what a coil can handle, even during a burst. They are not quite as common and more expensive, but if you're using neodymium, you're probably expecting to pay a lot already.
