ok this guy doesnt know if his eclipse subs are aluminum or titanium...he says when he bought the guy told him they were titaniums but he has no clue...is there anyway to check if he takes the sub out to know if his 15's are tits or alum? he says he thinks this is the model number 15 eclipse 88150dvc, i told him to take the subs out of the box and look for the model...will it be printed somewhere on the sub? Not sure if i should buy them or not

not that i know of, it wont be printed on them. my 8102's had no model numbers or anything on them. the titaniums are usually 9000 something. 9012, etc. most likely aluminum, u can also tell by looking at the basket. what kind of basket does it have?

im not sure the guy is like an hour away from me so i dont want to drive there like 20 bux gas for some aluminums....he said he will take pictures for me after work...

the eclipse ti's should have teh TI frame, aluminums should just have the standard 12 spoke.. if i remember correctly:)
Yup. Easiest way to tell.

If it was a Ti, it would have this basket:

If it has a 12-spoke, it's the "regular" Aluminum series.

Also, if the model # he gave you is actually correct, it would not be the Titanium series.
