To me kicker just seems like bottom of the barrel....
I could be totally wrong...
I get they make high-end spl stuff but theyre budget subs im guessing are meh...
Even though I know theres a huge following, theyre just sssssooooooooo UGLY!!!!

Kicker's gear is solid and all...the L5's sounded really nice. They just don't make anything I couldn't find better at a given price point.

I had two 15s about 6 years ago. And I sold the pair for $300. Wish I never did that. Nobody in my area was interested in them and most people didn't even know what they were. Some dude drove from the other side of the island to buy them from me. He was so stoked. He messaged me later that day that he dropped one of them while taking measurements and cracked the motor structure and magnet SMH. Not sure that the hell I was thinking back then LOL. But I used that $300 to pick up a brand new in box infinity kappa perfect 12 old school version. I still don't think it was worth doing though

I came close to a pair, when I went to look at them there was silicone patching most of the surrounds that didn't pick up in the pics...I was mad after driving an hour for that bs

There's a guy selling a couple of em right now that has tons of silicone all over the surround and the cork gaskets are gone. The cones are scratched to hell and they look like the cones are sinking in the baskets. And the guy wants $500 for the pair LOL. Some people are crazy AF

Kicker got a bad rap when they were pimping their stuff out on eBay for next to nothing. They actually make a good product. Their amps are way underrated at lower ohms, and they are pretty efficient. They are also pretty reliable.

Their cheaper subs are made for the teenage bumpers. They take a pretty good beating, from what I have seen. The higher end subs can put out some pretty high SPL. Especially the L7's. They almost have the highest Vd out of any sub in their class, due to high Xmax and the highest Sd.
