*I am a wear there are a ton of forums and what not on this subject but nothing has helped me yet*

New car, it has kenwood component speakers front and back and a performance technique 4 channel amp for them.

The problem is when accelerating i have a whining noise from the speakers.

Gains all the way down it still has the noise just not as loud

also when the rca cables are unplugged the noise is 100% gone

and the rca cables are on opposite sides of the power wire

Even if they're brand new, yes. First rule of troubleshooting is narrow down your problem. If you change out the RCA's or HU and the problem is gone you've found the bad link, if it's still there then that wasn't the problem (obviously). Even if it's not a Pioneer HU, you could try grounding the outer part of the RCA's. Also make sure your head unit has a GOOD ground, and when I say "good" I don't mean the factory ground. If I were chasing down alt whine issues one of the first things I'd try is a new dedicated ground from the battery to the source unit.

HU re-grounded

amps re-grounded

rca cables are insulated running down passenger side

power wire is insulated running down driver side

Ill look into the HU problem next because i do not have extra rca cables to test
