Anyone have L7 db numbers?

Are you kidding me? I know a few kids with shitty DD set ups that have been metered at Sound America (local shop), and they are no where near 120.
Maybe I am overesitmating how loud 130dB's actually is?

My buddies BONE stock malibu with a stock stereo did 122 dB's. I've also seen a bone stock blazer xtreme break a 120 as well.

What the hell kind of meter does that shop have? I do 120+ at like volume 10 (when i usually go up to 21-22)

130's with music is loud i'm at like 135-137 with music and then it starts to sound like shit but when i burp is in the high 144 low 145's i'm not runnin' kickers either

Ive done a 123.7 with 2 6.5s IB in my doors @51hz, i think most daily setups would do 130+ lol.

I've seen a bone stock bottom of the rung dodge stratus hit 115.3 on a TL meter at the dash in a legal setup. I believe 125+ isn't hard to hit with a few tweaks for most cars/trucks.

VERY wrong there buddy. For a DD, 130dB's is an awsome number, (again, for a DD.) Most DD wouldnt make it over 100dB's...

Yeah Tony I think you have been misinformed somewhere. I have to agree with everyone else about it wont take much to be low 130's for a DD. But I have never seen a bone dry stock sysetem do in the 120's. But never tested one for that matter.

do u have a kenwood x811d by any chance? and 130 isnt saying much i think eveyrones set up is at least 130 db's

Yes I have a Kenwood x811d ... It actually puts out more than 100+ watts its rated power at 2 ohms.. Only problem with the amp is that it overheats sometimes when I have my bass all the way up, playing a song with constant bass. Other than that, its a great amp..

Explanation please? I havent been in car audio long and would like to know why.. Would the box need to be tuned higher to hit 130+ playing music? Just curious... People say the L7 has no SQ whatsoever... For some reason mine sounds fairly decent and reasonable volumes..

DD has the WORLD RECORD in dB Drag Street A, Super Street 1-2NW, SuperStreet 3-4, Extreme 1, Extreme 2, and Extreme 5+
