what kind of channels can you get? i looked at a channel list and it just looked like a bunch of PBS and local news channels. any channels like TLC or discovery or movie channels maybe?

How illegal is this, what can happen if you get caught?

you wont get caught its not like the cards that were with dtv this is all files you load off the internet and it isnt going to be trackable to you cause your not hooked to phone lines etc

I have all ppv all reg channels plus all the **** ufc etc...

the sat i hit are at 119 and 110.

so if i were to line up a dish to echo 110/119, i would get ALL these channels free or?

Do that with a dish net dish and get one of many universal recievers and you got it. no hd with my box and dish but there are some you can get hd with as well

well we have a directv dish so does that mean i would have to use one of their satellites? any opinions on the captiveworks cw-700s receiver?

im assuming its just a coax cable, but you have to have the 3rd party receiver from what ive been able to gather so far

I was just looking on some forum about this stuff and they all have 10ft dishes, or multiple motorized dishes. Seems alittle more involved than I thought.
