Anyone have a used Flux Capacitor?

I've been to the Deloran shop in houston ( http://www.delorean.com ) and they had ones there that were perfect showroom condition for sale. Even had some anodized ones that were different colors.
Great car, POS subaru engine. You can tell John Deloran worked on the Firebird, the delorean has alot of the same a/c controls.
Was it a subaru engine? I was thinking it was a volvo engine......

At one point I was thinking of trading my corvette for a DMC 12

of course, within the month you all know i'd be modding it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

My indirect point was that it was dumb to make that cool of a car and put any pos engine in it.

Not to bring this back up but the engine was referred to as a PRV-6. The PRV stood for Peugeot, Renault and Volvo who all contributed to its development and used it in some of their own offerings. The 6 was for 6 cylinders. It was no speed demon but certainly was no POS. The car itself was marketed as an "ethical sportscar" because the engine allowed it to get around 30 mpg so I don't think raw speed was the intention. The engines were reliable and would go over 300k miles if treated decently and not overheated. Once overheated, it was ruined because of the aluminum. The electrical system was more of a problem than the actual engine. They are fun cars to work on and drive and get attention like no other cars on the road.
