I have a 30 x 30 shop that i would like to build some sort of booth in...has anyone built one or have recomendations on how to do it or how effective they are????? i was thinking of framing off a section of like 6x6 or 8 x 8 and using 8 mil plastic sheeting around the 2x4's to seal it off...but the comes the question as to how do i exhaust it out...

any help would be much appreciated

Jason

Positive pressure (blow filtered air in, let filtered exhaust out) is way better than ******* air through an exhaust fan. It helps keep dirt from flying past the paint job. That's how the pro's do it.

Lighting - very important. Need light from all angles. Explosionproof fixtures or light panels in the walls if possible.

Don't forget forced air breathing apparatus. Paint masks don't cut it anymore. Painting modern urethanes and epoxies with isocyanides in an enclosed area can kill you. Not like the old days with laquers that just give you a buzz. No joke.
