Anyone had problems with kicker solo L7's voice coil?

hey, i got 2 kicker L7's 12". and one of them, the voice coil is broken off. My friend fixed it, and it worked for like 10 mins, and they broke off again. But he used speaker wires to soder it back on, cuz it was to small to reach. If you just soder them without the speak wire, will that be better? Or how can it be fixed, other then sending it back, cuz i got it from ebay, and it is under warrty from them, but they taking to long to send me the info to where to send it and stuff. Let me know, if anyone knows anything.

If you have a warrenty, and its covered by it NEVER try to fix it yourself. you probably just voided the warrenty by having your friend try to fix it.

well its warranty by "indoaudio" from ebay, i been trying to get info from them to where i can send the sub at to get it fixed, its been 2 weeks, and they keep saying soon we'll send the info and all that bs.
