Anyone got a JL HD600/4 yet??

I installed the PDX 4.100 & 1.600 in my wifes' jeep liberty running Boston Pro's and a JL stealthbox. HU is Alpine x100. They sound excellent! The system really came to life ...crisp highs, but not harsh, clean mids and mid bass and the 600 hits hard on that 12". The system meshes very well and is tonally balanced.

AND

I just installed the HD 600/4 in my wrangler driving Focal speakers. It sounds better than the Alpine... smoother. Almost twice the price though. I will be replacing my sub amp (JL slash 250/1) with the HD 750/1 as soon as I can get my hands on one. I haven't finished this install yet, but I might be able to post some pics of the other.

Is this like the iPhone of amps? Were people camping out for it? Does it cure cancer?

I'm not sure I understand. I had read about it, I walked into the store, my buddy said, "We just got this in", I said, "Oooohhhh, I want!".

Is this a hard amp to get ahold of or something?

the excelon kenwoods are also nice. there are decent reviews out there and if you cannot afford a pdx or the jl's they are nice for the coin. they have better tuning options than the pdx as well.

no but you have 23 posts so you have practically no credibility here. i could care less if you have it or not, ive seen them in person, handled them and heard them. dont own any yet.

I think it's goofy that people want to see pics before they believe you bought an amp. Why would anyone make that up?

I spent all weekend installing an entire system in the ol lady's car, so my new stuff is still sitting in my bedroom. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I'm picking up a second 600/4 Friday along with the cable I needed to finally get my W505 working with my processor. I've got plans all weekend, but hopefully by the weekend after I will be able to post up installed pics and give my thoughts on how these amps perform. If they live up to the hype, I plan on getting a pair of the 750/1s, too.

I think it's goofy that people want to see pics before they believe you bought an amp. Why would anyone make that up?

Dude,basically we just want to see this new Jl amp,a few people are saying they bought one,well snap a fuccin pic so we can see the thing,usually when people get nice gear like the 600/4 they want the world to see.
