Anyone gone to Panama City,FL for Spring Break before?

My 4 senior friends and I are planning to go to Panama City for spring break..

We might stay at Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort on the beach.. http://springbreakpcb.com/sunspree.html

Just wanted to know if anyone had gone there before? any tips or anything? and how was it?

We will be going there on March 28th and return on April 6th..

I sure am hoping for nice weather during the whole week!!

Just wanted to see if you guys have something to say about this since it is our first time going to that area..

tips....decide on the amount of alcohol you think you need and then double that

also dont forget silly chick alcohol like wine coolers and malt beverages

It's awesome. I go there about every year or two. I always stay at Sandpiper Beacon.

The weather can be kind of wierd sometimes. If it rains, its usually just a surprise storm for about 30 mins, unless it rains all week.

I know that you will have loads of fun! You can rent motorcycles and ride jet skis, parasail, rent a pontoon boat, pretty much have an unlimited amount of fun.

And yeah, seems like there is plenty of things to do around the beach, hope they re not too expensive you know..

Two of my friends wants to go to one of their parents' resort in Destin, FL.. My best buddy and I said no fking way! It is more of a family focused resort and I sure dont want to spend my senior spring break at a family place with no chicks and alcohol ha.. So we made them to join us.. Their main reason was the $$, they didnt think they could afford staying at that hotel we re going to stay at.. We convinced them since we will split the room rate up in 5 ways because there are 5 of us so the cost isnt so bad after all..

Was there last week. Good to go and have fun for sure. Holiday inn is a good hotel. We booked late and stayed at Casa Loma. Wasn't a bad hotel and was cheaper.

I am going to give you some pointers. Go to sleep at 6 in morning wake up at 3pm. Club La Vela is the place to go, Breakers is awesome too. MTV is down there this month too. **** I need to go again.

yeah i heard about club la vela.. sounds awesome but I m not sure if I ll be able to shell out that much money to get in this club? I was told it is expensive to get in

im not a big party person, i just left destin the other day, destin is alot nicer town than PC, but if your looking for the all out party then go to PC
thats a long drive...takes me about 3hrs to get there

I take my family to Destin every August for 10 days. I can't stand PCB now that I'm grown up.

destin is nice, but your right its more geared towards families, i live about an hour and a half from pcb but to me pensacola beach and panama city beach are basically the same, they just have a couple more clubs

I went there with two of my buddies last year for our senior spring break. I think club la vela was like 15 or 20 to get in if you get there before a certain time. There was another club that was having a foam party one night don't remember the name of it, but that was the most fun of the entire trip. It was like $15 to get in it. Certain hotels have coupon things for the clubs so see if you can find them. We got half price into one of them. Be careful with the booze, cops were raiding tons of rooms. And if you plan on traveling after the sun goes down... walk unless you are going somewhere more than a couple miles away. It is faster to walk than drive on the strip at that time.

I ve got some mixed opinions.. Some said it is nasty there, pretty stupid.. while others would say it was awesome..
