anyone go deer hunting?

Those of you who love your hunting and 'consider' it a sport, I suggest you quit your greedy ways and start treating all of G-d's creatures as they were put here to be treated. There is not one good reason for hunting anyone, we are not caveman and there are thousands of markets where you can purchase meat without having to abuse animals.

Are you a vegetarian? have you ever seen what goes on in the places where you "market purchased" meat comes from? Me shooting a deer ONCE and it dieing seconds later is nowhere near as bad as the shit that goes on at meat plants and shit. and IIRC the main reason for there being animals on this planet is for us to eat. If you buy meat you are just buying meat from an animal someone else "HUNTED" you ****in moron. Yes i could just raise animals for the soul purpose of killing them and selling the meat to make profit but i would rather not do that. I hunt squirrel, rabbit, pheasant, duck, geese pretty much anything they let you hunt oh and i fish too!!

I do a little bit of hunting.

I enjoy deer hunting. I fly to my uncles in up state NY every year. He owns 80 acres that have probably 13 to 15 tree stands for deer season and turkey season.

You don't hunt turkey out of tree stands.

Very nice looking place. Love the rack on that old mounted 10 point. But why mount so many smaller bucks? Thats a bunch of wasted $$$ in my opinion.

I am now a Ovo-vegetarian so I no longer eat meat but when I did I made sure that any animal products I purchased were grain fed and cage free. While this is no excuse for eating meat before I knew better it allowed me to ensure that the animals I was eating were treated humainly before being let down which is much more humaine than ANYTHING that goes on during the process of getting that chemically treated junk you purchase while getting your budweiser at wal mart.

Do yourself and read this book, I found it at Whole Foods and it really not only changed my outlook on life but taught me how eating raw foods was the only real way to go.

The violence is not going to stop right away obviously but as time progresses things will get better, guns will break down, police will seize those illegal and destroy them and they will become so rare and expensive that the gang bangers and hunters will not be able to afford them and there will be a drastic change in the amount of gun violence committed in the US.

actually we hunt and give most of the meat to the neady here in arkansas.

Went this year and got a doe, nothing special.

Hunted all the first weeked, a day during the week, killed her the last day of the season.
