Anyone from Kentucky?

I am moving to Maysville, Kentucky on August 4th because I have to get out of Michigan before I end up in jail or dead. I am moving in with my Grandma and Grandpa so I can attend Maysville Community College for a year before I transfer to Morehead State Univeristy. Anyways, what are the laws regarding car audio and window tinting in the State of Kentucky it should be state wide laws or does it vary by city in Kentucky? Anybody know?

So I can have limo tint ALL the way around my vehicle and bump my stereo as loud as I want then? hmmm seems hard to believe....here you can't bump at all hardly and any tiny at almost any percent lower then 30 on the front windows is illegal...

They havent really said anything to me about my music or tint...I know a couple people who have gotten pulled over with 5 and they havent got tickets for that just speeding...didnt said a word about the tint. But that is in louisville dont know about maysville.

x2 on the no laws thing. My cuz had limo tint on his mazda 626 and cranked his sony explods (tehee) all the way up where ever he went.

I have blue headlights that are supposed to be illegal, but I pass cops all the time, and even had one cop say that they looked kinda cool. I don't care for the blue headlights, I was expecting less blue and more white, but it's all good I guess.

I haven't gotten anything about tint, and I live less than 1/2 mile from the police station here. My brother does get pulled over all the time for having loud exhaust, and he has 20%, hasn't gotten anything said about it. Cops here have better things to do than check tint evidently.

Dont tint the front winder and you'll be fine...

in fayette county (lexington) the tint law is 28/18...but to this day I don't know anyone who has got a ticket for it.

i think the sound law is a disturbance over 150 feet. im not sure the exact rules, but people get tickets for sound violations all the time.

and have fun in maysville and morehead...youre in for a whole lot of boredom

just stay out of the nice suburbs. when you are bumping and they can't see you, they think you are black and up to no good

Naw I'm moving because I'm not doing anything positive with my life around here and my friends are too ****in' crazy. I mean I love them and all...they're my family but I can't do what I've been doin' for the past six years if I want to better myself. I was just curious of the laws down there so I knew before I moved....

Boredom may be a good thing for me to experience for a couple of years. I have done way to much then I'd like to think about at the age of 20. Morehead can't be THAT bad it's a pretty big college. Just under 10,000 people. And if it is, I'll keep my grades up and transfer to UofK.....
