Anyone ever used Peal and Seal?

I personally like what roofers call "Torch on/Torch down." It is a thick rubbery membrane that requires alot of heat to get it to a gooey state so that it will stick to whatever it is you want it to stick to. One major drawback is the side that you dont heat up has the little pebbles like regular roofing shingles. So the use of this stuff is restricted to the insides of doors or behind the plastic panels inside the car. For comparison: it would take about 5 or 6 layers of peel and seal to equal 1 layer of torch down.

QFT...
It may work now, may work a year from now... but it will eventually fail. Been there, done that.

It also does not actually "deaden" as well as a true butyl mat, not to mention the toxic fumes it gives off.
Hm, probably not a good idea in a hatch back huh? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
