I took a greyhound once. The transmission has just gone out in my last car and I was out of state. I had to be back at work that monday so I bought a ticket. IIRC if was ~$50.
I get on and get a seat. (I thought it would have been assigned seating, but I was wrong.)
1st mistake...I took a seat at the back of the bus. I had a middle aged guy on my left the window on the right.
After 50 or so miles the guy next to me kept talking, coughing, sneezing, and just being wierd. I tried to sleep and ignore him, but dang...
I changed seats after that and sat up front with an elderly lady. She was nice. Also very quiet. She kept offering me crackers and cookies and all kind of goodies she had, but I had to refuse...no telling what was in there.
Finally on my last leg I sat next to a younger woman, maybe in her early 30's. She seemed nice, but I think that the tuna smell that was present wasnt "tuna fish" if you know what I mean...
First and last time...never again, I will spring for a plane ticket. Although, I have had a few interresting flights too...terroristic threatening, sone guy tried stealing my wallet, and some old drunk guy puking all over the plane...
I HATE TRAVELING IN ANYTHING BUT MY TRUCK.
