Anyone ever travel Greyhound?

I'm 16... I need to find a way to get to northern Florida without my car. A plane ticket costs $250, and to have my car shipped here + gas to get back up, it's around $250 as well.

So, I was thinking of taking a Greyhound bus. From the website, it seems as if me (a 16 year old) could get an adult ticket and travel with no problems.

Also, I will be bringing my second 18" BTL and some clothes... wondering if they'll let me carry a big *** 70lb box and a smaller suitcase.

Any ideas?

had to do that to pick a car of mine up once, it sucks but its not horrible, and you wont be bring that thing aboard.

also bring something to do that will make you look very distracted so people wont talk to you. i chose a portable dvd player with noise blocking headpones, worked great.

People try not to let you sleep, if you get a talkative person. Nope they wont let you carry that on, will go under the bus.

Will it be a problem putting in under the bus? I mean, if I'm standing there waiting to board with a big box and suitcase... will they have a problem with loading it and tell me I can't take it?
No, and usually you just lay your bags out in a line and they load it for you. That was a few years ago, it might have changed. But they wont have a problem with having it under there.
