Anyone ever threatened Ikesound with the BBB?

I sent my girlfriends amp back in early February, I bought it as a refurb and it was DOA. They received it like the 8th or 9th of Feb. I call them every 2 weeks to check on it. Originally they told be 4-6 weeks, but its obviously been longer than that. We are currently in like week 12 and every time i call back, the lady on the phone says. "2 more weeks." Im getting tired of waiting. Has anyone every threatened them with calling the BBB? Does that get the job done? Speed things up? Im in need of suggestions.

Ask for her supervisor....

Tell them what you just told us.....at least demand store credit rather than continue waiting on the same amp.

ive told them that before, shes just like, we are trying our best. And its taking longer that usual.

The BBB won't do much unfortunately. Its a for-profit organization that has no enforcement mechanisms much other than giving a company a bad rap on its website....

Since Ikesound is located in FL, you best bet would be to contact (i.e. fill out a claim form on the webpage of) the Florida State Attorney General - Charlie Crist.

I've done it once or twice in the past and every time i was contacted shortly thereafter and the state began their investigation. Surprizingly, both times were found in my favor.

Getting in trouble with the State Attorney General is something most companies don't want to deal with and usually you get things resolved shortly after the state contacts them.

they tell u to write and email to that one guy and he only works 2-3 days a week so he says just ***** alot and demand to talk to ike and continue to ***** to him and he will take care of it. it took them 5weeks to get my hu back to me and all it was was an exchange even tho it was during the hurricanes it should have only takend a week they said and i paid for overnight down and back and they sent it back ground. so all i can say is f*ck ikesound

thats odd i have ordered several things from ikesound and ive never had probs
