Anyone ship a car? Theres a car that I like, but its in San Diego.... So anyone ever do it? How much does it cost? I sent quotes to 3 websited, but It will be a day or 2 before I get a reply.

Shipped a DSM to a guy in Michigan we payed like $700 maybe or a little less. They came to my house with a truck and loaded it and there it went no troubles at all.

i dont know for certain, but my dad shipped his truck from Orlando to Portland, OR last year and it ran him like $750 via an amtrack service, i believe...

My girlfriend's brother runs an auto transportation business, he only gets $115 per day for himself, and then fuel charges, but down here we're more of honest than most, and cost of living is quite a bit cheaper than most places. It cost about $250 in gas from here to either coast, so he does it pretty cheap.
