Anyone ever run 4 8"s?

Im looking to possibly run 4 8" drivers in my Ford Explorer, where I can still utilize the 3rd row.

How many cubes would 4 8" drivers need? Maybe the Tangband 8s....

Anyone else reccomend 4 8"s otherwise?

you can run 4 DD 1508's in 4 cu ft and the will hammer...give the 4 anywhere from 1000rms to 4000 rms.....

many many people have run 4 8s on here. depending on which 8s you get though will depend on how much space you need.

Just figured id weigh out my options. Not really sure the dimensions needed to utilize the rear cargo area with the seats up...

Im going to have to go do that.

I ran 4 RE8's in 3.5ft^3 tuned to 38hz...sounded pretty good and got fairly loud.

Check out my avatar. That was 4 re8s in 2.5 cubes at 35 hz. Got plenty loud in my sisters vw bug. Not as loud as her current setup with 2 dd 1508s and the same amp. If you got the money do four 1508s. Otherwise re8s are also good. You can find 4 re8s for less than or equal to two dd 8s.

a while back I ran 4 8w3's on 2 cubes sealed. it was alright. i'd probably do either 4 AQ SDC2's or DD
