anyone ever heard the RE RE series components?

I have not yet ordered my DDC comps from DD, ill be doing that monday. or I can just go to the shop and pick up the RE RE series the same day. i dont know how either one will sound, im just pretty sure the DD's might have more in the midbass departments, but the RE's might have more in the SQ area. which would you pick?

the older re comps I really liked, never used the new ones and I couldn't afford DDs to try them ..

I installed a set in a Sonoma and they sounded pretty good. The tweeters were a little bright but there was a ton of midbass. These were the old version though, with the nippled cones lol.

i have a set and i like it the mid bass is solid, and the tweeter to me sounds good not to harsh, it is a silky, id saty in the 80 rms range, be sure its clean, prfeererably a good active setup......
