Anyone ever get Alpine amp repaired?

Just fried my mrd-m1005. Anyone ever have anything sent to Alpine? How long do they usually take to get amp fixed and back to me? Just wondering never dealt with this before.

I have done alot of work on Alpine equipment, and I must say that they are definitely worth repairing. They are very well designed and you can still get great performance and a long life after they are repaired.

I personally have never dealt with Alpine on repairs, but their equipment is definitely repairable.

I don't think it will go to Alpine directly, most likely one of their authorized service centers like United Radio in Syracuse, NY if you are on the East coast.

They are ISO 9002 certified and have well trained folks, you can track your amp's progress every step of the way with their tracking system. If it is not under warranty they typically charge a flat rate fee no matter what is wrong with it. They serviced an Alpine 7949 for me a few years back and did a stellar job.
