Anyone ever bleach their door interior w/h rubbing alcohol?

I was using rubbing alcohol to remove the tar substance that glues the plastic moisture barrier to the door before sound deadening. The alcohol did a decent job and did not affect the paint in any way. When I put the door panel back on there was tar on it and I figured if the alcohol did not strip paint, it would be fine on plastic. I was wrong and the door looks bleached where I used alcohol. I tried armor all but it did not work. I don’t think there is anything I can do but I thought I would just see if anyone had a suggestion or had the same problem.

Thanks.
