i bought my XXX 18 from him.

things i can say about the purchase:

- sick price on the xxx 18.

- quick, good shipping in a protected enclosure

the bad..

- i may have needed a replacement as the coils were reading 2.4 or 2.6 i think, suggesting some poss. damage...i called i think...7 times? and his response was "i'm calling the warehouse to get you a return label...call you in a few"...

..never heard back, kept calling, got same response. eventually gave up.

sub works fine, i just figured with the coils reading so high that is a little out of range..

but regardless, would i purchase from him again? no. i LOVE re subs, but their price is just too ****ing insane.

after awhile i might get rid of my XXX 18 and sell it, trade it, whatever, and i might move into something more along the lines of 2 15's, or 2 18's, either Fi or something along those lines

I did a group buy with them for the SI Mag, took like a month or more to finally get it. No biggie for me because I wasn't ready to install yet anyway, just jumped on the good price.

I know I'm going to get flamed for this but oh well. I talk to Kevin pretty much weekly through emails and daily on ecoustics. Kevin is a stand up guy imo who has had nothing but good service with me and others on ecoustics.

As for Ben, he is no longer with Low-Hz and it is only Kevin now.

I know someone (a few names come to mind) will bring up a thread bashing Kevin and Low-Hz but I just wanted to give my personal opinion on the company and the matter.

I would feel comfortable buying from them.
