Since you came on here and asked about shooting someone, it's premeditated murder if you kill them. If they don't die, it's assault with intent to commit murder. Both are felonies.

From the way he wrote it, it sounds like it's already happened.

But it did sound like he knew his assailants, so even if it wasn't premeditated he was dumb enough to get himself in a situation that he knew to avoid anyway.
