Im thinking about swapping out my Stinger voltmeter for an analog one. I think being able to see the amount of voltage drop would be easier than just seeing numbers, plus I dont think the stinger one is "fast" enough for some of the quick bass.

I did a ton of research and found this one:

Defi 52mm

Its pretty much full sweep and goes from 10-15 volts, perfect range for me. The Autometers go from 8-18 but most of that range Ill never see.

Anyone else use something like this?

Oh, and found this meter too here too bad it only goes up to 100a!

Make your electrical strong enough to support what you're running and you won't have to worry about fast drops...

Nice.

Your high horse... Get off of it.

I just wanna keep track of voltage and was wondering what would be the best way to do it...

how is that being on my high horse? It was a SERIOUS response. Don't waste time worrying about a meter, make sure you electrical is strong enough to support the current you'll be drawing. Simple as that....

As to your other question I use the Stinger meter and it works fine.

It just sounded kinda high-horse-y (new word)

Is it This???

How exactly do you wire this?

If i have two batts? can it be hooked up to front? What about with isolater?

Or should it be ran to rear distro block?

Yep, that's the one. Can get them on ebay for like $25.

3 wires: power, ground, triggered power....can hook to front or rear batt/distro or the amp itself.

Why do you have an isolater?
