Anybody put a head unit in a Mini?

My friend just bought one. Told me he was planning to put a head unit in it but probably can't because once the salesman showed him the design of the dash it looks like it's physically impossible. The actually head unit appears to be built in BEHIND the dash with a display window for tuning functions and channels. Just wierd, never seen anything like it. He's now curious as to what others have had to do to replace their head unit and how much of a project it was.

no it was VJ on my screen name because his was banned...i think he did post something on my name tho so look through my threads havent had many lately anyways shouldnt be hard to find
