anybody have and Kicker CVR 15s?

a yes im thinking of maybe buying 4 CVR15s since they are cheap for a pair on ebay, i have a kicker zx2500.1 and i was wondering can these subs handle alittle more then the rms of 500 watts each? cause for 2 are rated at 1000 watts, and i will be running the amp at 2 ohms since there only rated down to 2 ohm stable, also with 4 15s it sould get pretty loud even though there the cheaper subs? cause the cone area over just 2 18s? thanks

Subs will be fine. Gave 4 of the 12's 600 rms a piece and they were fine. The 15's are a little more beefy than the 12's. I think they will be ok.

well what would be louder between 4 kicker 15 inch cvrs vs 2 kicker L7 15s? thats what i am deciding?

4 cvr 15s will easily handle a zx2500.1.

on that power the L7 will definately be louder the 15" L7 is equal to an 18 in cone area.

he doesnt have 16cf which is what 4 cvr 15 need

so 2 L715 will barely fit

i have done many of the eclipse cars he doesnt have room for more than 2 L715 or 2 bad *** 12's

Hope you got the space, otherwise get the L7 15's and be done with it.

If you dont like the squares, then the cvx models will work as well.

well that's the thing at first they aren't going to have much airspace, i have a chevy ex-cab silverado and they will be put under the back seat, well i will custom build a ported box, the box will be the seat basecally, these trucks arent really good for boxes cause of the humps in the floor, but i have to keep the back seat for the kids, lol well i plan on getting a tahoe eventually but not anytime soon, then i will have plenty of room in the back, i just wanted to get the subs that ahead of time, the box with 4 15s would be really tight, cause the demensions i am going to use is 55 inch long, 21 inches high, and the depth is 16, but i may use 18 inch depth, and the cvrs are 8.5 inch mounting depth, cause they would have to back up to each other in the box 2 facing foward and 2 facing back, port back. i just want a loud setup, well the port i plan on is 32 hz? thanks

well i will be stepping up from 2 kicker L7 12 on a kicker sx1250.1 to a zx2500.1 now im just wondering if i went with 2 Kicker L7 15s would that be way louder the 2 12s on 1500 rms?
