Anybody has box size suggestions for 12 inch Idmax subs...

got a 1.25 sealed box and pushing 1000w rms to it.....the output is pretty good for a sealed box and i love the sound quality...but i was wondering if i could get more output safely with a ported box considering im running 1000w rms to it........any ported box size and frequency suggestions?....thanks guys....keep bumpin'.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif

While I do prefer 1.5cf net sealed, I used to have one in a 2.8cf tuned at 29Hz and it had incredible low end...too much for me. IMO it sounds much more natural in a sealed enclosure.

If you're going ported, make sure you use a lot of port...the IDMAX moves a lot of air.
