Anybody good with small engines? (2 stroke)

What I'm saying is buy one good quality trimmer, treat it well, and store it properly in the winter. Then you don't have to buy a new one each year, which would save you money in the long run
Gotcha. Got a diff brand this time. See how long this one will last me.

BUMP: Revive this one instead of starting a new one

I'm in the business for a new trimmer, gas or corded electric. Budget is $250. What are you guys using? I'll be using it for edging/trimming about a 1/2 acre.

Stihl is my favorite brand for two-stroke equipment.

I worked at a horse stable doing "grounds maintenance" one Summer (mostly mowing and trimming). The owner had lots of money and had fantastic Stihl trimmers. They worked fantastic and were way better than the cheap one I had at home. The better quality trimmer made the job easier and faster. I ended up buying one for myself at home.

I picked up an Echo. I've only used it once so far. It's more than what I anticipated. Thanks
