anybody ever use prime power batts

there the same specs as a optimal gp31 but im not sure if there any good for car audio

If they are made for UPS or Telecommunications, they are not designed for the frequent charge/discharge of car audio. They will work fine, but they may not last as long as a car audio batt. My guess is you'll get a good 2 years from a batt designed to last 10 years in other applications.
