Anybody ever get Maaco paint job?

let me ask u this sorry to the op i been thinkin of askin about a Macco paint job my self.. would u take a older jeep in my case a 1992 jeep sport with some rusting and some dents on the side of back panels and doors. the hood is kinda white the truck started out black i have some spoting on the hood thats kinda bad looking would it be worth bring it to them?
I had a friend that had an old f250 painted at maaco. He had them fix the rusting roof too. I was actually shocked at how nice it looked. It seriously looked factory, it was that good. No over spray anywhereeeeeeeeee. Paint was nice and glossy. He paid I think around 1000-1500 for it.

i got some dings and the clear coat is shot on the truck i would like to go back to a high gloss black finish i think that would look great. i was told from my friend its in pretty good shape and omg when i went to check it out it ran good and did what i wanted it to do like move when it was in drive lol.Its just this jeep looks like kah kah.. i have to get a pic up so u guys can see my truck.. some people around here know me and what happen to my last car so it would be nice to get some pics of my new ride..sorry op

My mom once offered me for my birthday to get my whole car repainted because it got so ****ed by people smashing into it within the first year of me getting it fixed.

I passed though. I figured it wasnt worth it even though it was free. Didnt feel like not having a car for a few days and they would probably get more overspray all over the place.

ummmm well what kind of car and does it have anything to do with Maaco and if so do u know any one that had there car or truck painted there that would lead to u to think that they would or over spray?

My bad, sort of a random comment. I got my taurus painted at earl scheib. The overspray wasnt THAT bad, but they got it in places easily avoidable.

I'd go to maaco over scheib anyday when I saw my friends painted truck.

Its cool bro i was like umm what he talkin about but its cool im like that my self all the time lol. I never heard of Scheib.

all depends on which maaco u taking it to. i know the maaco here

does some pretty nice paint jobs, long as u get the top package they offer. with the 2-3clear coats its like 1200 i think, but those packages they have for 299-599 are CRAP, it'll only last atleast a summer and then it gets dull

If you want a paint job to show off probably not, if you want a paint job so that the people at the red light arent looking over at you pointing at your jacked up hood and rust then yes. If it were me though Id buy a DA sander and prep it as best you can before taking it to them, especially if it has dents. If its surface rust you can handle that, if its cancer let someone else.

not true. i have seen a LOT of nice paint jobs for under a 1000
I would love to see these "nice" paint jobs. I guess you are looking for a 400$ paint job to be good, so we probably don't consider nice the same thing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
