Anybody ever burn diesel in their kerosene heater

1500w? for 5? I think really a forced induction with a thermostat would be cheaper.

If its vented you can. Otherwise no. Or if you're daring, try it and grab a CO alarm.

Holy crap that is a GOOD heater for that price. Ratings 4.8 out of 5 that is pretty uncommon for one and 70,000 btu with a thermostat. The cheapest I have found here was like 130 for a 35,000 btu without a thermostat and was a junky one. Heck even walmart was charging 150 for one on Clarence that was 60,000 btu with no thermostat and couldn't find any info on cust reviews. It says not available in indianapolis market. I wonder if they would still ship it because for that cost for a 70 with thermo I would for sure prob jump on it

The Lowes where you're at should be able to order one for you if you talk to the right person.

We only use offroad diesel in our kerosene heaters at work. It will not hurt the heater just use what ever is cheapest.

yes, we use red diesel in ours.

one of the dudes at worked told me thats its basically refined diesel. But then again that dude is an *** hat.

i burn it in mine, only thing about diesel is that it can gel up in freezing temps.
