You'll fix the rattles as time goes.. I have a cobalt rental car with a good 5-6k rms in it.. **** the big 3, the Cobalt is fine. I had a charger, which had a 10 amp larger alternator, and had a charging wire equivilent to 8 gauge under the hood (Yeah, ignore that 4 gauge running to the battery itself, i think thats from the fuse box) and that electrical was complete crap. The dodge charger definitely needed a big 3 done, but a cobalt will be fine. Originally, I pulled out my stock battery on the rental and replaced it with an orbital purple haze. This time, i left the stock battery and i added a system to charge 16v via the stock 12v battery system.. My first setup in the cobalt was a sundown 3k on a 12v system, now i have it running on a 16v system on a single sub.. I love the cobalt, but it rattles like a mofo with a trunk subwoofer.. It sounded amazing with the sub in the backseat though, cut down on the trunk rattles.
