This may have been what they were referring to.

I googled and found this thread over on splbassx in which DJL emphatically denies the "allegations";

The simple truth of the matter is Resonance has never built for Audiobahn or had any business relationship with Audiobahn or any of the other companies associated with Audiobahn.

For some reason this rumor is still floating around out there; kind of like the rumor about us killing endangered albino alligators and making cones out of them.
