I have a friend who, for a variety of reasons, is considering accessing websites only through proxies. So who has links and/or recommnedations?
Hhahahahahahaha, what a coincidence that this comes up with the banning of SM and IamDeMan and whoever else got the hammer, lol.I have a friend who, for a variety of reasons, is considering accessing websites only through proxies. So who has links and/or recommnedations?
That's great man. Thanks.Okay, I will educate since I used to be into Brute forcing / hacking. There are 3 types of common proxies...
HTTP - Used for websites / email / other various internet activities only.
SOCKS4 - Used for the same reason as HTTP but can also be used pretty much as a remote assistance tool but with no inferface / online only.
SOCKS5 - Pretty much the same as Socks4.
For browsing the internet like you guys, use HTTP. Since HTTP are the most common, you should be looking for proxies on ports 8080 or 80. So the format is IP Addressort
Eg. 127.0.0.1:8080
You can find proxies by scanning for them yourself by using pfinder, charon, other various scanners or just by using free web proxies. Scanning for them yourself can be most efficient because the chances are you will be one of the only ones using it, if you get them off the web - Im sure many many other people are using them. Most HTTP proxies are not 100% anonymous. They give ratings to proxies to identify their anonymity but I can't remember how that system works. Then of course, you can either use the proxy manually (By going to the top of your brower... Somewhere in Tools (sorry im too lazy to find it)
Or you can download programs to bind the proxy to your IE or foxfire browser. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Theres all the tips I'll give....
