Any rumors about APT-X codec Bluetooth decks coming out soon?

Has anyone heard any rumors of head units dropping soon that contain the APT-X high definition Bluetooth codec?

I'm using it with a 3rd party hardware APT-X receiver plugged into my head units AUX input and it's 99% as good as a hardwired connection and 1000x better than regular Bluetooth.

There's one model of Alpine head unit I've been told about that has the latest version of Bluetooth of any current model of aftermarket head unit, and I believe that is running Bluetooth 3.0. I've never heard of APT-X Bluetooth. This is going to require support from the mobile device as well.
