they've got a 10 year screen warranty, i had a dead pixel in mine since day 2 and it finally has annoyed me enough to send it in ... they're covering to/from shipping, the works ... i'm impressed. My parents 3 year old vizio just went out...
My Polaroid went out twice. The repair guy said it was some cheap control box Polaroid puts in em. Also said it would go out again. And it did. Polaroid = pos imo It sucks because I loved the picture the thing had, mine was a 1080i 32"I paid 800 for my 40" Polaroid LCD. Got it on clearance because it has like two dead pixels, but we saved a ton. Very happy with it. Picture is great and it's been running flawlessly for 14 months now and no problems. We upgraded from a Magnavox that crapped out after 3. I also have a smaller version that has been running for a year and a half and is still working great.
EDIT: Here it is. Says 720p on the site, but the TV and the manual say 1080 so IDK.
