Any one have a Pioneer DEHP6800MP deck?

they are really good except they do not have preset buttons. so if you like switching presets fast, then sucks for you. plus it is very hard to set the presets also...other than that i like it. go to BB, CC, or a local shop and play with one.

I just installed one of these in my truck on Saturday. So far so good, easy to use, plenty of options for the money.

The radio preset thing is easy to figure out (you either click the list button and select a preset from the list, or press the multi control up or down to scroll through presets) storing them is easy too. Press the list button, scroll to where you want the preset to be (1-6) and then hold down the multi control to store it.

It picks up MP3 CD's quickly, and using the List button/multi control is an easy way to find the folder you are looking for. Tuner works pretty well, plenty of expandability (Ipod/Sirius/XM etc) 3 sets of pre-outs.

The remote it comes with is pretty neat (although I don't know how much I will actually use the remote) and allows you to control everything from the remote. The front is neat looking without the preset buttons, and once you have taken a few seconds to get used to the multi control its real quick and easy to navigate around.

The main thing thats bugging me so far (and this might be something that can be switched off) is that the display constantly switches from black background w/ blue text to blue background w/black text. I want it to stay at black background w/ blue text.

It's my 1st Pioneer HU (been an Alpine fan and wanted another Alpine, but heard nothing but bad things about the newer Alpine's) and so far I am really pleased with it. I have it hooked up to an Aura RPM 4200 running Infinity Kappa speakers.

Give one a try, like I said its a pretty decent HU for around $200.

that is a feature pioneer uses called "reverse mode". it is somewhat of a screensaver. turn the unit off, then hold the multi control down for a few seconds to get to the menu. scroll over to reverse mode and turn it off.

Thankyou!! Thankyou!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I saw the reverse thing under the set up menu, but had no idea what exactly it was. Will be glad to get that switched off!!!

Have you used the battery voltage meter on there? just wondering how (in)accurate it really is?
