i searched some cheap alts and alot of them mess up and/or dont put out its rated power..i looked this all up cause i was looking at some alterstart alts and everyone that had one ended up trying to sell them to upgrade to something better...so just save your money and get something thats gonna be worth it

Dont go with motorcity reman. If you do a search on here you can read about all the bad experiences with them. Look into MeanGreen, Ohio gen, HO alts

What type of car? I'm am sketchy on the over 200 amp alts for internal heat and output. Pending on what type of vehicle can you run duels. Duel stockers from auto zone work solid.

I guess it really depends on what type of car for your alt choices.
