The oldest Coustic amp I have been able to find a pic of on the internet is the Coustic Amp300.

I'm looking for pics of the older Coustic amps such as the Amp500, 300, 150 and the heard about but never seen Coustic 1A. (I'm thinking circa 1987 on the 1A). I had one in 1991 and never should have tossed it. It was my very first amp.

Also just for kicks does anyone know of any owners of the Amp500, 300, 150 etc? I've been trying to find one for myself for a decade or so. I know they are still out there because you can't kill them. The one pictured above is still working flawlessly in Arizona in a Bronco.

i have a AMP300 ....it works great...

i also have a coustic560.

both of them are not really for sale... but they might be if the price is right...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm actually trying to find an AMP 150. Hope to find one eventually. PS- Not related to those coustics; If I had known in 1989 how much my "junk" was going to be worth in 2010....... lord.

I was so heavy into car audio in the early 90's it pretty much defined me. I was doing the shadetree stuff @13 like some, then building custom designed tuned port boxes @ 15 yrs old. (remember this is before computers were widely available so building tuned port was "your design" rather than the one on the internet. My first job was installer, eventually owned 3 car audio stores by the time it was all said and done.

Had I known the rooms full of stuff I had was going to be worth so much I'd have kept every bit of it. I still remember all the old HUGE sherwood amps my buddy had running his wall of 15's. I told him I hated those amps, now they are better than half the junk out there.

Of all the systems I had in the late 80's.... early 90's that I miss the most it would have to be my wall of (6) red ring Lanzar 12's powered by (3) Autotek Model 99 Mean Machines. Obviously I don't have to tell you they were the first Zed version. Ahhhhhhhh good times.

I took 6 of those red ringed Lanzar 12's to USACi finals in 91 and took 2nd I had them in the trunk of a silver Probe on two MTX 225 terminators.....I still have my deck from back then...it was a Pioneer M400 am fm changer control with a 6 disc M30 pretty much all controlled by remote.....I sold the Pioneer Active EQ that was with the set years ago.....
