Any Mods interested in being the 3rd person in a sale?

I'm looking for a mod that i can get to be the 3rd person in a sale due to the person im buying from doesnt have a 100% good feedback

Im looking at buying 2 kicker l7s from

Sxkicker89 and i noticed he had a few blips on his feedback so i thought about getting a 3rd person

I'll Paypal the amount to the 3rd Person he can show the paypal reciet to Sxkicker89 and then when sxkicker89 shows the shipping receipt the 3rd person can forward the cash to sxkicker89

hope im not messing with any rules i just dont want to get $crewed again....

ill have to see if sxkicker agrees to this and if he agrees to the offer i made him and it wont be much cause all the 3rd party has to do is show a reciept and then send the payment via paypal .....

what if something goes wrong in shipping and the seller doesnt want to pay for it? will you reverse charges on the 3rd party to get your money back?

If you do it this way your PayPal claim possibility will be f00ked... the seller will have shipped to someone other than the person he got the money from. So using a CC is moot... but I dunno if I'd do it this way if I were the go-between. I'd want the payment via MO and the item shipped to me for inspection first, I think. No way I'd risk getting a PP chargeback against me when I never had the goods in my possession. The buyer pays the extra shipping, or the parties split it, but it's the safest way, I think.

Shipping receipt isn't enough proof in the first place. All it shows is the destination and weight, for all you know it could be a box of bricks.

Hm. Tell him to setup an ebay auction with buy it now and you just buy it 10 seconds after he posts the item for sale. That way you're backed by both ebay and paypal. and use a credit card through paypal.

JHughes has the right idea. Use an Escrow service. It's what we use in skydiving when selling / shipping expensive items ($3000 skydiving rigs, canopies, etc...).

iEscrow is a good one.

or dont buy the item from him, because it seems like a hassle.
