Any Mini Cooper Owners?

Just drove one today and fell in love.....have searched a couple mini forums and can't find much bad about these cars. Anyone have any experience?

For reference it was a 2003 cooper S with 60k

I have a 2009 JCW Mini Cooper, and it's ****ing awesome. Once you drive the JCW you won't want an S anymore.

Don't want a JCW due to it being for work. I put about 6k a month on my work vehicles, so the S will suit me just fine.

One of my buddies has a modified Works edition and its like driving a go cart. It's just to tiny for me though, but its a cool lil car for sure.

Drove an S one before and was OK at best IMO. Way to small for me, but I am 5-10 240.......now. Was 280 when I drove it, but still think it would be too small.

So if you are on the bigger side, I don't think you will like it much.

They're definitely fun cars to drive and sound great with a system in them. However, I went the cheaper route and bought an '09 Sx4 Crossover recently. Just put my whole setup in there and it's ridiculous. It's definitely a fun AWD drive car too, drives like a rally car. 15's Making the windshield flex too. But if you buy the cooper you won't be disappointed.

Edit: Imo the crossover feels a lot bigger inside as well, which was a plus.

fun fact: the sx4 comes with navigation standard!

I like the Mini but not pricewise, a works puts it in the same price range as a stang/370z.

also wouldnt recommend going with a smaller pulley on the stock sc, 2 friends had major issues doing so.

I wish they would make more premium 4bangers like the mini tho. The A3 doesnt cut it

No system, its all about the mileage with the work vehicle.

And actually, I have the same amount of room in the mini as I do the RR.

6'1" 320 and I fit just fine
