Probably not. I never joined but knew a couple people that did but they didnt think they got any benefit. I just never felt the need to spend the money.

I think a large part of it is the networking aspect (obviously). That may or may not be worth it to you, it kind of depends on your chapter and situation. They were actually quite active at my school, but I also didnt stay in the area so YMMV.

When I was in college back in the day I was part of a fraternity and a few other social clubs and after you get that degree, only thing I got out of it was a nice spot on my resume once I graduated.

I joined Alpha Chi. It's a small fee, well worth it IMO. Ditto on the resume spot. It's just an easy way to tell people you graduated Magna *** Laude.
