any mechanics online right now?

im in need of some slight help asap

a friend broke some lug studs off his car

we took the break caliber, rotor and the nut on the axel off.

but i cant seem to get the piece that the studs go into off for anything

no cotter pins or screws holding it in at this point either

What kind of car?

I stripped one of the studs out on my 97 Grand Am, with the wheel taken off, I just beat the stud with a hammer. It seems like it's solid, but it's just a bolt and pops out the back.

I had to get a little creative trying to get the old one out and the new one in, but if you rotate the.....whatever it's called, where the studs are mounted, you can probably find a spot to just slide it in.

its front wheel drive so i cant rotate that thing at all since its the whole axle rotating

we tried beating it with hammers and everything but cant get it to budge

May be able to knock the studs out from the back, if not you can replace the whole hub and bearings while youre at it, little preventative maintenance for that piece of shit.

torch! heat er up (if you have it)...your probably gona have to rotate it too. So jack the entire front end up so you can do that and remember to use jack stands

big hammer and a chisel or similar

parts store should have a lug nut made for your car

try a big hammer. And the piece you need is the wheel hub assembly. Just purchased one for the focus cause my bearings are shot on the passenger front wheel. It comes with new bearings and new lug posts
