U.S amps , who are ironically based in Florida as are JL AUDIO are the main benefactors of RE , who also share components with all these other brands , such as Sound Splinter , Sundown , Incriminator , Fi , etc . Many of these Forum companies are using tech that has been passed down from Orion , U.S Amps , and other older Car Audio Companies that re-structured themselves to survive .. I am not in the industry , but it does not take a genius to compare all these brands and see that they share MANY od the same components , making them cheaper ..

Look at the frames , cones and surrounds on all these " upstart " subwoofers ... They are all EXACTLY the same ..

Also guys , anyone who sells ANYTHING for a profit is technically a sell out .. Otherwise everything in this world would be FREE , which obviously it is not ..

They make look similar, but could be totally different in terms of components used. They could even be the same size, but with different values or tolerances than another company.

Obviously some parts will be similar as there are only so many buildhouses. Howver most companies have specially tooled pieces. The similarities of these companies has been long debated....
