IMO onkyo is known for electronics, not speakers

Buddy of mine has it, it works, but bottoms out at any relatively high volume.

I've heard that Tom Nousiane liked Chad Kuyper's new products, the Epik (sp?) subwoofers...

Sub cabinets are so pitifully easy to DIY, even to have someone DIY it for you and just mount the sub and amp in the cabinet, that buying them pre-built is just...meh.
