any info i can get on my Lanzar opti 50c.......

i know these are real good amps but what i'm triying to figure out is what it's pushing in wattage............i have two driving 4 15" orions and it hits like a beast!!!!

checked that site......has the lanzar line but not the optidrive 50c........only the 50..........

didn't think it would be this much trouble finding info on this amp..............

i guess a schmatic is out then...............

significantly under-rated across the board.

It was a beast 20 yrs ago in comps because it was classified as a 50w amp.

Rumors range from 1000-1200 at 1/2.

It's not efficient. To get 1000w out of it would take ~50% more current than a modern class D amp.

Its an old "cheater" amp.Does like 50@4 ohms and can run down to .5 maybe lower depending on your electrical.

just info........i know what it's rated at, way above 50 watts a channel...

what i'm trying to find is info from actual owners of these amps.....(hoping anyway).....

as in what they have gotten out of them.....had modded or not.....what they put out at 16v and 18v and so on.........the car audio shops where i'm at really **** a**.....out of the three in our area not one has a db meter of any kind on hand for testing.....WTF????

i.ve checked on line for db meters and all is either too expensive or only go up to 130db...

I have hooked up two of these opti's on 4 15: Orion xtr 4 ohm dv 800w rms and these opti's are about to tear them apart at 1 ohm bridged.........i'm trying to find out what the amp pushes so i can figure out what subs to buy............any info appreciated.........thanks

n2a posted it. 400 x 1 @ 1 ohm. They're not as over rated as everyone thinks. I have a review of one somewhere. I have over 200 car audio mags to rummage through so finding it wont be easy. I will tell you this though, at .5 ohm bridged it barely made it into the 900 wrms range. I want to think 912????

I'm pretty sure Lanzar was all in-house in that era.
