Any info about a Wizard w90.4 amplifier

yes, it does look like that as well. Probably the same buildhouse or one right down the street.
Yeah I actually thought it was one of the off Merlins until I actually seen the guts opened up a little larger.. but none the less should be a pretty decently good amp for what it is.

Merlins did have a Wizard amp but it was Merlin then Wizard at the bottom of Merlin like that... which is why the thought ^^^

Hey all new to the board and somewhat new too car audio in general usually don't post in forums cause I can find answer's myself and most of what I've ever needed to know has been covered, but I googled for a fair amount of time and can't find any info at all on this or any other car audio amplifier bearing the name Wizard and more specifically a Wizard W90.4.
So any info, link, or reference about Wizard amps would be greatly appreciated. Seeings how I bought 1 today for dirt cheap $45 bucks to be specific from a dude on craigslist who also didn't know any thing about it however it seems to be very well built or at least from the little bit I do know about the difference between crap and a decent amp.

The amp it's self is huge compared to most I have been around it measures about 20 x 11 inches and very heavy it is a 4 channel with 4 gauge power and ground terminals heavy gauge speaker wire terminals probably like 12 if I had to guess along with a good amount of knobs and buttons for the settings and opening it up looks to be very well built as far as I can tell don't have time too hook it up till later so not sure how it sounds any way hope someone can help thanks in advance to any one that does or can will post a pic or 2 later if that helps any

Can you get some close up shots of any wording on the board?

yep, and the one I own is weird, it has skull and crossbones all over the front of it. Other ones ive seen don't have that.
and to the original poster, the amps prob worth $100 tops if it works. And I meant 4 gauge, not 8...and it was common for amps to be made without fusing back then, mainly because the "grand install" was more common unlike now where everyone just wants to drop a small amount of cash and a LOC for an install and don't need inline fusing because its built into the amp.
i sold those at best buy when i worked there like 98ish

ahhh...
in that collection of yours you wouldn't happen to have any brahma mk motors would ya?
no sir, I do not.

This man is correct, was only sold at Best Buy. I have the 75x2 amp. It still works!

I have one too man:naughty:View attachment 26534886 The eyes light up red too like LED,amp sounds great
ps, I'd probably fuse it at 80 - 100 amps, (80a on the safe side)just by looking at it....maybe someone here will help more.... @TaylorFade, @akheathen, @audiobaun ,...what is this?
Im like Snoop..Ive been around this stuff since 87-88,and have never seen these amps,or dont remember seeing them. They look like they have decent boards, the larger with a fan induction, so more than likely will shell out some power, fan cooled to keep it running cool.Im sure its 2ohm mono stable for sure, could possibly be 1ohm?Id run both for a week or so ,just to see what they sound like.I wouldnt think they would be anywhere in the neighborhood of any kind of real SQ,Or those guys over at DIYMA,would be all over it/be talking about them such as the Alpine Duo_b Series amps from back in the day all the 3513-3555 series amps.I did pull up Wizard amps, and they do make Guitar amps.I wonder if they decided to make a car amp for the hell of it back in early 2k yrs?But ya ..run them for a week or so what I would do.check them out..Im thinking entry level TDH/power,not SQ,but Just Dirty power..Just my opinions though..But Never heard or dont remember seeing this brand man.

Yeah I did see that there was a brand of guitar amplifier called Wizard, but the logo was different so I dismissed it. What is interesting about this amp is the existance of a bass knob on it. 2002ish there wasnt many amps that had that feature.

no shit? The eyes on mine don't light up though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Guess they got fancy with the 300> sized amps. I see some concorde goodness in there too!
Those Concords were my first Real pocket opener paid Install in an 87 accord in 89,Paid install, and still work great!I have 3-50.2,and 2-20.2,and had the Concord HU at that time running a Sony XEC1000 xover, on JBL GTQ speakers and the First Bazooka T102 -10in Subs(4) on 2-VII Hifonics Cyclops,Polk Tear Drop Mids with tweets, that car kicked ***

I bought one of those in 1990 out of pure curiosity and was amazed at the output from such a crappy looking little driver,..lol..it sounded better loaded with a Punch 10 and got real loud on 300 watts of PPI goodness.
